At South Side Hills, we have two models of small groups combined in one small group ministry:

1. Connection groups which offer relationships through common interests, more relaxed settings, and a smaller group size. These groups are advertised based onone of three areas of interest: study groups, care groups, and social groups. New Connections groups meet for 8-12 weeks minimum and start and/or stop each trimester. These are “free-market” type model groups.
2. ConnectionPlus groups which offer more purposeful equipping for growing in Christ, a larger group setting, and a commitment to serve. These are continuing groups which meet year-round. These groups fit the Adult Bible Fellowship type model.
